AMANI Aesthetics

Clear the Damage. Reveal the Skin.

Brown spots. Redness. Rosacea. Sun damage. Uneven tone.

Lumecca® IPL in Artesia, NM, is one of our favorite treatments at AMANI for improving the visible signs of accumulated sun exposure, pigmentation, and vascular redness while supporting overall skin quality.

Unlike a traditional laser, Lumecca® uses Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) to selectively target unwanted brown and red pigment within the skin. Beyond correcting visible discoloration, an IPL photofacial can also support collagen remodeling over time for brighter, clearer, more even-looking skin.

Less visible damage. More luminous skin.

Think Brown + Red.

Intense pulsed light treatment allows us to address some of the most common signs of photodamage and vascular redness within one treatment plan.

Brown

Sun spots · Age spots · Freckles · UV damage · Uneven pigmentation

Red

Rosacea-related redness · Diffuse redness · Facial flushing · Broken capillaries · Visible superficial vessels

Scars

Lingering red or brown discoloration associated with certain healed acne scars and surgical scars

Skin Quality

Photo damage · Uneven tone · Overall skin quality · Collagen remodeling

Not every brown spot is the same. Neither is every type of redness. That’s why we look at the skin before we treat it.

Your Skin Tells Us Where to Start.

Consultation + AURA 3D Skin Analysis

Every Lumecca® journey at AMANI begins with a consultation.

What looks like a simple brown spot or redness on the surface doesn’t always tell the whole story. That’s why we incorporate AURA 3D skin imaging into our assessment.

AURA allows us to document and evaluate concerns such as visible sun damage, pigmentation, and areas of redness, while creating a baseline we can use to track changes in your skin over time.

From there, we determine whether Lumecca® belongs in your skin plan.

New Lumecca® patients require a consultation and patch test before treatment.

At AMANI, Lumecca® IPL is offered to appropriate Fitzpatrick skin types I–IV, with final candidacy determined during consultation.

Because beautiful results begin with understanding the skin we’re treating.

The AMANI Tight + Bright

Lumecca® IPL + Morpheus8®

Some concerns live at the surface. Others require us to go deeper.

Our signature Tight + Bright treatment pairs Lumecca® IPL with Morpheus8® RF microneedling for a more comprehensive approach to skin rejuvenation.

Bright

Lumecca® IPL

Targets visible browns, reds, vascular concerns, and photodamage.

Tight

Morpheus8® RF

Takes the treatment deeper to address collagen, texture, and visible laxity.

Two technologies. Different targets. One thoughtfully designed skin plan.

Your provider will determine whether combination treatment is appropriate for your skin.

Curated Upgrades

Make It an AMANI Treatment.

Sometimes the smallest additions completely elevate the experience.

Cool + Calm

+ Glacial Glide

Add precision cooling following your IPL facial to help temporarily reduce post-treatment heat, redness, and swelling. We call it our Cool + Calm finish, a beautiful way to address skin inflammation while creating a more comfortable treatment experience.

Smooth + Polish

+ Dermaplane

Add Dermaplane to remove surface buildup and unwanted vellus hair, leaving the skin smooth, polished, and refreshed.

Tight + Bright

+ Morpheus8®

For patients whose concerns extend beyond pigmentation and redness, Morpheus8® can be paired with Lumecca® to incorporate deeper collagen remodeling, texture refinement, and tightening into the treatment plan.

Not sure which upgrade your skin needs? You don’t have to be. That’s what your consultation is for.

What Happens After Lumecca®?

Darker Before Lighter.

Don’t be alarmed if your brown spots suddenly look more noticeable.

Targeted pigmentation commonly becomes darker following your IPL facial before gradually clearing as the skin moves through its natural renewal process. Temporary warmth and redness may also occur.

Don’t pick. Don’t scrub. Let your skin do the work.

Your specific post-treatment skincare and restrictions will be reviewed at your appointment.

How Many Treatments?

Your Skin Decides.

Some patients see beautiful visible improvement after a single Lumecca® IPL treatment. Others benefit from a series.

There isn’t one number that makes sense for everyone. Your treatment plan depends on what we’re treating, the amount of visible damage present, and how your skin responds.

We’ll determine your recommended treatment plan during consultation and adjust as your skin changes.

Treat the Damage. Protect the Result.

Intense pulsed light treatment can help address the damage we can see. What you do between treatments matters, too.

Daily sun protection and an intentional home skincare routine are an important part of maintaining clearer, more even-looking skin and protecting it from continued UV exposure.

At AMANI, we don’t separate in-office treatments from long-term skin health. It’s all part of the plan.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Lumecca® a laser?

No. Lumecca® uses Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) rather than a traditional laser. An IPL photofacial allows us to selectively target appropriate pigmented and vascular concerns while also supporting overall photorejuvenation and collagen remodeling.

For appropriate candidates, vascular lesion treatment with Lumecca® can improve rosacea-related redness, flushing, and visible superficial vessels. Rosacea presents differently from patient to patient, which is why we evaluate your skin before determining whether IPL belongs in your treatment plan.

In many cases, makeup can be worn the same day when the skin is intact. For patients wanting coverage following treatment, we may recommend Oxygenetix® Post Procedure Foundation.

Sun protection is also essential. AMANI carries both face and body SPF options from Colorescience® and skinbetter science®, and we’ll help you choose the right protection for your skin.

Lumecca® typically involves minimal social downtime. Temporary warmth and redness can occur, while targeted brown pigmentation may become darker before gradually clearing. Your exact aftercare and expectations will be reviewed based on your individual treatment.

Because we don’t guess with your skin.

Your consultation allows us to evaluate your skin type, pigmentation, redness, sun exposure, and overall goals. We also use AURA 3D imaging to establish a baseline and document visible redness and sun damage. Your patch test then allows us to assess your skin’s response before proceeding with a full treatment.

It’s where your Lumecca® plan begins.

Your Skin Doesn't Need Every Treatment. It Needs the Right One.

Sometimes that’s Lumecca® alone.
Sometimes it’s Tight + Bright with Morpheus8®.
Sometimes we finish with Glacial Glide or add Dermaplane for a more elevated skin experience.
And sometimes, after looking at your skin, we recommend something entirely different.

That’s the difference between choosing a treatment online and building a skin plan at AMANI.

Clearer tone. Less visible damage. Better skin over time.
